Laurence Antony is a visual artist from Montreal, Canada, whose practice encompasses oil painting, drawing and digital art.
Through a layering process, both digital and physical, Antony is interested in producing visual narratives that hold a distorted mirror into his lived and imagined reality. His paintings often portray grandiose scenes and relatable characters. Through these images, Antony seeks to depict surreal yet familiar scenes through the emotions, desires and struggles depicted.
He has exhibited in Montreal based spaces such as Le Livart, Gallerie Popop and the MAI as well as in group exhibits in Brussels, Tokyo, and at Art Basel Miami.
